Hi all
Just wondering but I have a standard tickford head, 3.45 LSD adaptive shift auto trans and tickford ecu, to throw into a au series 2 sr,
Apart from taking the old off an new in, is there anything else I need to do to make it all work? Or anything to look out for in switching ecu's?
Also I'm changing the front end and putting the xr front on

there MIGHT be some wiring differences between the normal auto and the adaptive shift, but I can't confirm this, and yes you will want to get a 300kpa fuel pressure regulator.

Pretty sure messing with the fuel pressure isn't necessary - std reg should be fine even with tickford ECU.

The Tickford ECU fuel maps are written to work with the 300kpa fuel regulator. I too recommend obtaining the correct regulator in the long run.

Short term the engine will run, but perhaps not to it's optimum.
