Is the timing chain guide on the passenger side only held in by the one bolt up on the head?
As my timing chain is hitting mine sicne I swapped the head. Tensioner on the other side of the enging seems to be doing it's job though, queer!

Two bolts - one either side. Can be prone to snap - has snapped in my NA.

Two bolts? What one at the top and one at the bottom?

Hmmmm... When I changed my head I just undid the top bolt pulled the old head up and off and put the new one over it, didn't remove the guide or anything and then just put the bolt back in. Maybe it's jumped off the posts or what ever at the bottom.
