just out of curiosity how important is the top bit of the guide? the bit that always breaks off?

I had a couple of cars where the top was snapped off... in fact this new one I just built is the first one that has had it complete.

Did it fall down inside or do you have the piece? If it fell in.. get it out, if it didn't fall in, don't worry about it.

That is my suggestion anyway, That side is just a stationary guide, so not really a biggie. Might make a tiny bit of extra noise as a result, but probably not noticeable.

sweet as thanks dude. it didnt fall in luckly i had a quick go at glueing it back on like i did to my mates when it broke but this one wasnt having a bar of it.

twas super glue the loctite brand and the break was pretty clean in the other one. i think my head has been done before and was broken quite badly last time
