hey guys well i had the left side guide snap on me the other day and the tensioner was rubbing on the chain so wasnt happy
neway to my question ive removerd everything and got the cover off only thing is i dropped the small lower guide into the sump and cant get it out. ive read a few post from where ppl have left them in to me this is a bad idea but i really cant be f**k pulling the motor to get it out. so my question is will it cause a prob if i left it in ? sorry motor is a el hybrid 6 fitted into a eb cheers for ne help |

in short, if you cant lower the k-frame/sump enough to dig it out then its not the end of the world. I have that same guide floating around, and a couple lifters and motor is still chugging along !!
just make sure you replace that bottom guide cause i left mine and then the left side snapped at the tensioner soon after.... |

disnt matter nemore ended up getting my arm in the sump and getting it just in reech

Thats what the misses skinny arms are good for! should of got her to reach into the engine and grab it

Dont worry about it. Mine has 2 lower timing chain guides, 1 for the timing chain and the other hmm in the sump!! its plastic so wont hurt anything and as siad too big to be sucked up.
