Has anyone on here put the timing gears in ? is it possible for the 6cylinder i know about the ones for the big 8cyl's but not sure if it is possible to get some for a 6.
Has anyone put them in or can anyone tell me about them ?

I rebuilt my timing gears 2 weeks ago.

Yes, they can be replaced.

No you don't need new gears with a new chain (unless they're chipped or badly worn)

Yes you can do it in the car.

Advisable to replace all guides and tensioner also.

Nissan L20B uses the same chain.

sorry... made mistake in the title... i meant the type of gears that you replace the timing chain with ? ... like get rid of the timing chain all together and just run gear cogs...

i know about them being in big 8cyl's and stuff but not sure if i can get some for a 6cyl ?

or if i can i have no idea where... can anyone help

A lil bit far to travel!
You'd need at least 2 more gears in there!
Prolly defeat the purpose.

I'd like to see a belt! ohh and a custom dohc head....

its called a gear drive

you cant get them, and probably wouldnt want them anyway.
