Hey all,

Just went to check the timing on my EL, I put it into diagnostic mode and the mark on the crank is about 2mm to the left of the mark on the timing case. I only use BP ultimate fuel, do you think I should leave it where it is or should I adjust it?

Also when I give my vehicle a rev in neutral or park the revs stay up for a long time then very slowly come down..........Is this normal???

If so is there anyway to stop it doing it?

Yeah that's the ISC doing its thang. Engines tend to run rich if you snap the throttle shut - so ISC lets air in to prevent this ocurring.

Dunno - disconnect the ISC?
