Check out the Kosteci Web site. www.kec.com.au/ Looked into these a while back very proffesional and do a lot of work on top performing cars. Ended up doing the work myself due to lack of dollars.

when I mentioned this guys last month in this post "Kostecki" http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18775

their "street performer stage 3 head" was prized at $824.

Now that people from the forum are inquiring about it, its gone up to $975.

While that's nice, it really doesn't matter all that much till you cc the head and pistons and blueprint the engine.

Is that planned in the future?

Has anyone dealt with the guys From Ierace Automotive? A mate recons they are top notch. Ford specialists and heads are supposed to be better than Kostecki. Got the most HP out of heads in the state, apparently! Dont know prices though.

well the time has come my tax check is in, so i'm going to waste it on my car.

first port of call is the head. i've been looking at just about every thing that is out there and i'm going to get a CNC ported head from the Kostecki engine center.

the two main point that sold me on it are one they actualy provide the flow figures for the head. (no one els will)

and two they garrenty all ports to be same within 2thou, so every port will flow the same all the time.

first it will be going one with no other changes other then valve springs, to see what difference it makes by its self (dyno and strip). then after a little more saving it will be getting an 8860, and a cam i havn't yet decided on.

i'm also looking at getting some 6-2-1 paciemakers and fitting those to see what the difference is over the comps

will also do a comparison between the two extractor after the cam.
(if i dont use the comps they will go on mums car, dad wants them but his tonner is colum shift and they dont fit)

Be good to see the results you get as you progress through the different stages you have planned.

And remember .... lots of piccies :)
