i attempted a twin 3" system on the EF, but there was no point.
1) the fuel tank
2) had to make hanging points on the passenger side of the car.
3) would of had to make a "split" dump-pipe
4) passenger side would be longer, so im unsure the affect of that

if thats the case then shouldnt all utes\sedans and wagons run sidepipes or truckstacks?(for the utes)

Sidepipes on most if not all sedans and wagons would need to exit after the back wheels to conform to the 300mm i was told. Heaps of people crunch their mudflaps . . . maybe sidepipes too?

diff dumpers are frowned upon by the hoppers coz emissions can pass into the cabin, unless you underseal the car properly you could be taking in gasses.

anyone here with diff dumps notice any extra smell? not that CO2 smells or anything but any odd smells at all when it first got done?

I didn't notice any smells with my traytop ute but a sedan or wagon would of course be a greater risk. The end of my exhaust was angled down and located about three feet behind the cab, which was about one foot before the rear axle. The only problem i had was noise, but i am unlikely to do it again for this and other reasons.

 and whats your reasoning? take a look at the EL in your sig, its probably 2-3 feet from your back passenger window to the tip of your bumper where the exhaust terminates. last I checked thats a heck of a lot more than 300mm.

read the comment above mine. going by what was said, sedans and wagons should have sidepipes and utes must have truckstacks for them to be legal. thats my reasoning lol obvisouly no where near the actuall law.
