i got a xh xr6 and i was thinking bout putting twin 2.5" pipes from cat to tip when i get some paceys.

what i really wanna know is the pros and cons

is it worth it?
will it have sufficant back pressure?
will extra mufflers or hot dogs have to be added?

Thanks guys any help would be good

Twin 2 1/2"'s? That's way to big! The V8 blokes don't even seem to go that big, and I6's usually only go a single 2 1/2"!
Arn't you gunna have issues with the fuel tank being in the way of the second pipe? Or will you make side pipes or something?

That's probably a bit of an exaggeration :D
Twin 2.5"s would be a bit overkill, and probably drone a bit as well.
Plus theres the issue of getting them over the diff. It's a bit squeezy under there, and you'd probably end up with them fouling on the floor or diff over big bumps.

Put the money into a decent system, not 2 pipes, might as well put a coupla 6in milo tins on the end, on a 6 cyl, it screams 4DRPWR, which , logically speaking, means rice, form over function.
