I've got a EL and remember reading a while back something about the spray pattern on the BA injectors is alot more effective than the EF/EL ones, is that true? Are they interchangable and a worthwhile upgrade to an E-Series? Am I correct in thinking there would be no need for ECU modding?

If the E-Series/BA injectors are not interchangable, are there any around that are a step up from the stock EF/EL injectors?

Plenty of other things to spend money on before touching the fueling side of things

But others have fitted AU injectors and say good things, but i have yet to see any before & after dyno graphs/timeslips, but thats not to say they dont make a worthwhile upgrade

Any ideas on whether the BA ones with suit an EF/EL?

Is there any theroy behind the AU or BA ones being better than the E-Series ones? Did Ford re-design or upgrade the injectors in any way?

yes there is a difference between them, the nozzle on the au injector has more holes in it than the e series item which helps to vaporize the fuel better

its more the spray pattern of the au injectors that make the difference.
and the au ones flow a little more than the ef/el ones.
but i think the ba ones flow way to much for a std n/a engine

Is that spark plugs or the plugs on the injectors?

I was of the understanding that the injector plugs are the same, and they are infact a straight fit???

just put AU's in my car, cant say anything but good stuff about them

the old ones i head must have been rooted good and propper

and yes, straight swap. a 300kpa reg is probably needed to make them work most efficient but their working fine at the tick for me with a 270

Yep Au into EF/EL are a good upgrade, and a recond set off E-Bay are around the same price as getting your original EF/EL injectors cleaned, to easy.

So does anything happen to the fuel economy of the E series when using AU injectors. Better or worse?
