not to long. its just 3inch but where the pod sits in the box i used a 45degree piece of tubing to get it lower in the box and so it doesn't hit the lid

take a pic of your engine bay, I though XG were EB2/ED engines

is yours on gas?

never has and never will be on gas lol. It has has the 4.0 MPEFI engine from the EB2, does have the older intake (my bad) this is the only pic i've got at the moment (because my ute ran out of fuel and is now parked in my mates shed) so i cant get a decent one yet.

correct me if in wrong but Im pretty sure the EAs run a larger intake which may be worth changing over

yeah... the EA one doesn't narrow down... i think its about 3 inches or something. Maybe an XH snorkel and EA for the rest?

lol why not. but the ea pipe and xh intake and a filter should help. Will also help further down the track with detractors and Cam

yeah definitely. Shouldn't cost to much to buy all that stuff. The K&N air filter will probably be the most expensive... do you think about 150 bucks for the whole lot?

pipe and intake probably 30each at a wreckers
filters prob 90 to 110. where are you located

A set of 3.7 diff gears will be your best bet to beat a VY, its a good combo for take off an cruising
