hi

will a v8 auto fit a 6 cyl, are the v8 autos the same length and will a 6 cyl bellhousing work on a v8 auto wether the bellhousings changed or not

if a v8 auto bolts to a 6 cyl block will a 6 cyl tailshaft go in between the ext housing and diff

for somone with over 500 posts to thier name surely you would have flashed over this topic a few times.

So. short answer: no.
Long answer... if you have enough money to get the input shaft changed, output shaft changed and extention housing shortend then sure. lol.

6pot engine block is longer than a V8 so housing is longer on a V8.

got a 6 cyl auto for possible parts so can grab the shafts off that auto and stick them in the v8 auto how hard would that be

if you get a v8 tailshaft between the auto and diff can a b8 auto go straight into a 6 cyl

If you are talking E series, all tail shafts on Short Wheel Base are the same length for V8 or I6. LWB are the same for V8 and 6 as well.

esentually the v8 box and 6 cyl box are the same internally
