hey guys just took all the valves out my I^ el motor i got new seals to put in just trying to work out the best way to get the old ones off coz they dont want to budge

ne ideas on the best way to remove the seal ?


ne help would be great as im trying to get this el moor rebulit today

Normally they just slide off easily. I'm assuming you have removed collets and springs and they are stuck?

You could carefully try and pry them off with pliers/multigrips making sure you don't scuff the valve stems. A bit of carby cleaner or any other solvent would help dissolve any oil varnish/gum.

yeh all springs r off collets removed etc and yes they r stuck .

If ya got new ones just pry the old ones off with multigrips. 8-)
