Where do I best go looking for a sports exhaust for an EF VCT?

.. any EF/EL/Au system should fit (non IRS)..

But Im also budget limited. Im also keen on 2 mufflers for noise for now at least

Any ideas?

EF did not come out in VCT, uness you did a conversion, where in sydney are you and whats your budget? do you want mandrel bends or press bends? mild steel or stainless? what mufflers do you want and how many of them, do you want a hot dog? do you want or need the cat changed?

currently the answer to your question is how long is a piece of string.

I would suggest that currently most places would be charging about $350-450 for an off the shelf mandrel 2½" system with 2 mufflers. or one muffler and 1 hotdog.

IIRC AU with VCT only came with IRS?

Also the exhaust for EF/EL would all pretty much be the same as I stated above just depends on your variables.

all e-series were live rear end, so don't bother mentioning that to an exhaust shop, they will think you only have ½ a clue. and charge accordingly.

Shouldnt cost any more than $400 fitted for a catback.
You want mandrel bent with 2 mufflers or 1 muffler, 1 res if you want it reasonably quiet.

VCT or not VCT makes not difference.
any EF/EL Exhaust should be fine.

The type of mufflers used will make just as much difference as to the noise as will the amount of mufflers used.

Personally, I like Lukey mufflers the best. Headers, Pacemaker are generally considered the best bang for buck on here.

Silly Silly Silly - yes I should have said more.

I want at least 2.5, mandrel. mentioned the VCT (and yes, I DID do the conversion) as Ive heard that the VCT may be the first 6 to enjoy bigger than flow than 2.5 (all rumour).
Of course, the exhaust system from EF to AU is identical for live axel - Noting that point above about flow.

Id prefer a bolt-on system, and I can bolt it on myself. like the idea of something like the redback with 1 * muffler and 1 * resonator at least for now.

Im in Riverwood. Guys - Essentially Im looking for that place some of us know about (I know where they are in other states) - Great work, Product, Amazing pricing, and Real Service.

Thanks
