yeah i hid from the cops for awhile but gave up and drove it every where, had heaps of cops of drive past but none ever stopped me for 12 months until last weekend when the local cops chased me to my house and told me to please put a scoop over it coz if i hit someone at 100kph the filter will kill them

im still drivin it without a scoop  rain doesn't effect it either although im lookin at puttin a hornet scoop on or changin the set up slightly

Ive heard storys that you can loose tourqe having a pod setup like that, looks like its not true then, could you notice a difference hows the throttle response?

longer distance between pod & tb = more torque.
the hornet would create more positive charge into the pod creating more response & more air.
as for hitting someone at 100kmp/h i'd be more worried about the sudden whack than the soft air pod hanging out of the bonnet.
just one question is that a ram air pod or are those holes just feeding some unfiltered air into the filter ?

dude im not tryin to sound like a little girl but the rules in QLD state that if something protrudes outta the bonnet it must not weaken the bonnet in any way and it must be covered by a scoop that is made outta the SAME material as the bonnet. No kidding. That means no fibreglass.

The height of the scoop would be too high to cover the pod as well........ damn you cant do nothing in QLD!!!!!
