an auto EL with extractors/exhaust and air-intake mods running premium fuel will kill an auto VN SS upto 100... even with the long first gear, been there...owned that.
adelaide is full of VN/VPs driven by fully sick hektics who think their clapped out VN is the fastest thing on four wheels...especially along main north road *misses the gepps cross intersection*

ONCE its had extras and blah blah done to it....well fair enough but that just shows for the ford to win ya gotta go spend close to or over a grand..

The VN's and VP's are still the quickest stock V6's in the holden range, short of maybe the Alloytechs nowadays. The non ecotech buick and Turbo 700 gearbox is the key. Damned awesome ratios and shift, and less power loss.
Friend of mine has a VP1 exec and beats me off line, but i wave on my way past at about 80. She just doesnt seem to have much in the way of balls at all until she creeps past 60. Almost like power band on a trail bike lol.
