Ill have to wait and see how much power it gives me
With the cam and custom J3 im expecting a pretty big power gain.

Ill have to dyno it when im done to check the power output!

One thing i dont understand is how the cam gives you more power...
It increases the lift, therefore increasing the amount of air/fuel in the engine, thus giving more power? Am i correct?

yep, im not the best to speak to about it but yeah, more lift and longer duration will give you more power but its alot more in it than just that. Im guessing you will get a ~20rwkw gain.

I'm guessing 20rwkw is a pretty noticeable gain in power.
Well these will be my last mods. I'm pretty sick of putting money into my car. Plus any more gains from now on will cost a bomb.
Hopefully the car has heaps of power after these mods and ill be happy.

Finally got the cam done.

First thing the mechanic said was "wow".
Took it for a quick test run, and man it goes hard. I thought it already went hard, now its just insane.
Theres just a huge power surge around the 3000rpm mark.
Couldnt get the j3 installed though. It ended up stuffing up my ECU and costing me $250 to fix.
Hopefully ill be able to send it back and get it repaired.

How did the j3 stuff you're ECU? Who installed it.
I have a 1673 in my eb with a single pegged diff and it's ok to drive, hard do drive in the wet tho.
Lots of fun. You have fun with it.
When you get the J3 in it'll be better again

did u get the chip fixed yet - have you cleaned the ecu connections cos it might not be touching properly - mate in tsv has an el with this cam and chiptorque hp2 and it doing exactly like yours - fast when he got it and now a pig to drive - starting to scratch out heads and maybe faulty chiptorque chip
