hello people,

i am in 2 states of minds here

i wanna get cams into my manual ef futura but dunno which ones to get.
my options are:

-Wade 1636
or
-RPD stage 2

just wondering if anyone in melb has one of these cams in their car and we can meet up sometime and go for a bit of a drive just so i can see which cam would be best suited for me. ill drive to almost wherever in melb to meet up.

if it is any help, i already have exhaust and extractors, tickford snorkel and KnN filter already fitted. obviously an xr8 or turbo falcon with these cams is being stupid, lol
uf ur car is similar to mine id really really appreciate it even if we went for like a 3min drive. just so i know what to roughly expect.

thanx alot guys
dave

if you go a RPD stage 2 you will need valve springs, a 1636 does not from memeory

If it's the new RPD stage 2 you won't need springs, as it's a slightly beefier Stage 1 now.

I had the Stage 1 and it was comparible in power to my Wade 1004, but it had a bit more down low, and idled way better.

well if you got a manual and are prepared to change springs, why not go one of the old rpd stage 2's, (think its 3 now? )

yeah im leaning more towards the RPD stage 2. wouldnt go the stage 3 coz i do a bit of peak hour traffic.

although, would love to catch up with someone with a manual running a stage 3 in melb just to see how it does idle.
