another idea if you have the room: go buy a f**k E series engine from a wrecker or something, and rebuild it or at least take it apart and put it back together lol. you would learn a fair bit from that i reckon.

Best way to learn in anything, is hands on experience. You can't learn everything by reading, just good background knowledge.

Should have a FM spanner night or something for those who want to learn something new? Problem is finding a facility to do it, because I am sure there are people hesitant to invite random stranger over to their own private property.

Yeah good idea I would think about it, gotta take the motor and rebuild my other one for my sisters wagon anyway. Always good to have a hand, but then i have to find the time to do it. and plus I am in Colac a bit far away. :D

True... But I succumbed and gave you my address, and it turned out ok. :D

Shame I'm no longer in the e-series game, otherwise this sounded like a good idea. As in my 3 hours last night sorting out f**k cam issues in my EL woulda been a good learning experience. I coulda had a lacky to do all the cleaning and stuff for me. :P

Cheap labour aye ;), and yes, thank you for helping me out heaps with the E-series...when/if I step up to a B series...I shall ask you more questions HAHAHA.

Well if I start to get off my a** and clean the garage up and then work on my other motor, I would gladly invite a few people over for a spanner night...but that won't be for a while...got other projects to finish.

Yeah... You were OK... Bad move giving Kyle my address and phone number... The C*** over like every second night. :?

I see x3ros is wanting to put a cam in this weekend. Maybe these guys could get together and do a blind leading the blind thing and work their way through it... Best learning experience being thrown a** first into the deep end!
