I bought a Ported 94DT... But im not sure if its ported....Say its not ported... What does a Stock 94dt flow and how much porting will be required to run 160-170rwkw....Provided i match it with a DEV 5 Cam or a crow 3000-6000??? What would the costs be ?? id guess around $500

your exhaust ports would be around the 32mm if its stock ...

I port out the exhaust sides to 40mm or the size of the exhaust/extractors ...
I then cut the throats of the valves right down to base line (this opens them up about 4mm) bigger valves are a good thing but you would all ready have that in your DT head.
on the inlet side there is not a lot that needs doing but you could open it up just a bit (2/3mm) if you want to do the same to your manifold as well ..

500 would get that done so long as you don't have to touch the valves

A manual box will help get you closer as the BTR auto's are notorious for draining power.

a naturally aspirated for I6 wont make 190rwkw. like in the move the castle (hes dreamin)

Be realistic. maybe on your santa claus dyno.

Just admit 140rwkw is about the limit for a N/A six

140rwkw limit is BS... many have topped 160rwkw to 175rwkw... and not on a jim mock dyno either......

140rwkw is the max for an NA six? I really hope you were talking about the falcon six because you may have been a little closer. The BMW M3 inline 6 makes about 360hp I think. There are quite a few ripper I6 engines that would more then likely put your LS1 to shame.

Dyno's are good but QTR mile is better .

Just remember that a dyno is only a tuning tool .

and EB V8 .. if you think 140 is the limit out of the E-series/AU I6 then you my sir are a FOOL .

how much should the head be flowing to push 160-170rwkw??? im gonna guess around the 350+ hp mark
