but realised the old magna sitting out the back has 2 thermos a 12 and a 10 inch, painted them black and they dont look too bad,not as good as a ef setup looks but not totally s**t!Should i just put these in instead to save money,or will they not be as efficient??
cheers chris

It will depend on how much trouble it will be to fit them to the radiator also how u can control them.
You can always put them on and if they dont do the job then fit Ford ones.
Suggest if possible to use ford relay setup so changing to ford fans will be a snap.
You can use a JAYCAR temp kit to control them.

Ford use 3 or 4 relays to control thier fans depending if they are from an EF or EL. So you need to look at what controls your fans and see if it can be used on the Ford. If not see if u can use the Ford setup on your fans.

Personally I would get the Ford fans and relays complete with wiring loom and use the Jaycar temp kit $29.95 to control it. You can set it so the fans come on to suit u.
