ok guys just that wat cam do u recommend, iwant something that i will defo notice, something nice and lumpy, my car is an auto 95 fairmont, got 2.5 and pacemakers going on it next few days, and would u suggest getting a chip with the cam so ican get it all dynoed and tuned at once, i was looking at the rspec 3 but then read they lack a bit down low on the autos running tall diff ratios, so i am keen on the rspec 4 will i need a stallie for this and wat oone would u suggest 2500/3000?? plz help guys wanting to do this in the next week as ive jsut got my tax back b4 i spend it on something else

best off asking these questions in our forum mate we all keep a keen eye in there but may miss threads elsewhere..


as for autos and the bigger cams yes they demand stall converters.

the spec3 is about as big as you wanna go with an auto running the stock converter and yes they loose a little down low however this is a trade off with the bigger cams. the spec4 will have the same problem and in an auto it will suffer worse.

if you were gonna go the stallie route somewhere in the order of a 2800 for a spec4 i would think..
shoot jaysen a pm, letting him know your cars details etc and what your chasing and he'll give you what you need to know. he's the best informed as far as cams go.

the problem is autos + lumpyness = not so friendly..
we can give you a cam that you will definately notice, but with a smooth idle to suit the auto.. (again speak to jay)
