the standard webber flows 420cfm stock on a XE/XF but you will gain a little fuel ECON by using the webber over a holley thats about it, holleys are for performance and can be a pain to keep in check.

Un modified the holley will flood worse then the weber. No tow ways about it.

Go floatless, neither will flood until its sitting on its side and even then it will probably still run if the conversion was done right.

The weber is far more tunable then the holley ever will be. Most people will tell you the holley is better as they believe just changing jets will get the tune spot on and it's misguided s**t.
The simple fact is these people don't understand the effect emulsion tubes, air bleeds, idle jets, booster venturi, power valve orifice and opening pressure and even accel pump shot have on the tune. Even more so they don't have the slightest clue as how to tune these items.

Yes i know some of those are changeable on the holley but the changes are very a*** and in some cases impossible or very very difficult to properly reverse the change.

You could try this.......had 10:1 CR, P&P head, Crow 3/4 race cam, roller rockers, modified fuel pump, and the 600 Holley was modified too.....went very well.
