Can someone tell me the approx weight of a bare AU block?
would it be possible to take it off the engine stand and put it inside a boot(falcon) so i can take it to get it resurfaced? |

Yeah wouldn't be too hard, i'd get another person to help you anyway though.

Me and Dansedgli put a EA short block (had alternator Power steering pump on as well) in the boot of a VP.
Defiantly a 2 person job, careful where you lift from - i had my fingers at first around the side of the sump - tore my fingers up a bit. If is just the Block itself no internals or anything you could probably do it yourself. |
