Hey guys, I need to fix up an "accident" that occured on the front of a BA that I bought, requiring the front radiator support to be removed and a new one welded on.

Just wondering which bits I should remove/disconnect before welding because I know this can fry some of the electrical components?

Disconnect battery, and take the ECU out, and put it well away from the welder.

You can drill rivets out, eh?.....I thought they used those same "snap-off bolts" that the ignition switch is held in with....... :?
You can undo them with a hammer & small chiesel.
