did you take a big end cap and main cap off to see what the bearing are like?

would have been very cheap for replacment bearings and easy to fit while you had it all apart.

Did the pole jump out in front of you?

Yes!!!! when i swerved then when to swerve back(counter steer) i hit a oil patch and basicly lost control and slid off road and out of no where the biggest power pole jumped out and nothing i could do but slide into it.

but at the end of the day everyone makes a stupid mistake in there life and mine was to swerve to start with LOL

bummer about the car.

did the new pump increase oil pressure by much?
my ef is rattly at idle when hot, and i'm wondering whether it's the oil pump
starts up quiet when the oil is cold (thicker), and when it gets hot, it gets rattly on the top end

yer i found it helped when the oil got hotter.

you wouldn't beleave this today a truck hit the side of my car and punched in the whole RHR door and scrached the RHF door.
then on the way home for some reason it looks like my resivour cap wouldn't release pressure and then my radiator EXPLODED!!!! half the side of the radiator is hanging open.
