14.78 is my best 14.9's on 3 other runs.. but now the front end of my car has been violated I will need to get a new one before I can post more times.. Track times are more impressive though.. I've run 1.57 laps at eastern creek in stock form with only the cam.. was previously running 2.05's

just had some nice new Yokie C.Drives on, its been quicker since.. but a few other mods had been completed at that time..

short shifter, braided brake lines, EBC Green Stuff pads, top quality import DOT 5 Castrol brake fluid (I tell thats the s**t!!) but engine wise, just a cam and air filter.. had me smiling.. all the other stuff I only picked up 3/4 of a second, but the brakes ment I could run those times a HELL of a lot longer.. I would run 3 laps previously with the stock brake setup and they would be faded to the floor, interesting at 240 km/h the upgrade, completed 15 lap sprints and full brake or almost full braking potential was still there.. they would cool down so fast.. I know guys are asking about brake upgrades.. seriously a good set of pads, lines rotors and fluid does wonders, no need for me to go to big 4 pots or anything.. the thing pulled up hard all day every day.. you aint ever gonna drive your car as hard as you will on a circuit, its good to go fast but its more important to be able to stop.. the faster the better.. just something to consider.. the standard ford brakes are not actually that bad a setup, just the hardware round em is a bit ordinary.

total brake upgrade I did was

front rotors - DBA Kangaroo Paw Ventilated
Fluid - Castrol Dot 5.1 japanesse import stuff
Pads - EBC Green Stuff screw the Bendix noisy dusty hard as hell and would eat a rotor for breakfast
Stainless braided brake lines - Curtosy of Joe at CMS.
did a seal kit in the calipers front rear and Master cylinder.. thats all there is to it..

Here's my 2 cents. If you're selling a cam and a customer will need "other stuff" to make it work in their car.. you should include it in a package and sell it together.
I'm interested in buying a cam, but if you give me a price and then say I also need new valve springs and it costs extra, I'll be less likely to buy it. I'd rather know exactly what I need and how much the total cost is straight up.
By the way.. how hardcore a cam can I put in an EL auto before I need an ECU upgrade? hehehe

i reckon you guys should have bare prices for separate parts, and a price for a whole package.
i'm keen for a stage 2 or 3 soon too!

A package with everything you need would be awesome...

In a while i might go a stage 1 or 2 cam... :)

I'm seriously thinking about getting the JMM dev3HL kit sent up here (QLD) and installed by someone, even though Alted are based here. And why? Because the JMM website is the only site i can find that has full kits available for purchase. Most importantly they specify what is in each kit, and how much it will set me back. The alted site is a little oldskool looking (not a major problem) but more importantly there are no prices, so I don't even have a ballpark figure to compare against JMM. Also the links to stage1/2/3 rebuilds and cams have very little to no info!

the site is still being updated with the information

the stage 3 was only put in a car for the first time (completed) last week and stage 2 is not yet completed so there isnt much info to put up just yet, the site is far from finished (so i believe) but wont be much longer

promo chicks that come to your door and sell the product in just a bikini?

lol owe wishfull thinking lol.

i think alted should get a in house dyno and a ECU upgrade kit.

that would go well with the cams and stuff.

it would also be a smart move.
