Hey fello Ford fans, I want my EB Fairmont to have a louder exhaust note than stock. Im thinking of a sports cat back system but duno if it will make a good difference. The main reason is to show off infront of my mate who has recently has put a technicraft cannon on his nissan n12 pulsar. His car sound nice but I want to do better, because I have 2 more cylinders than him. Anyway what do you guys think I should do?

Get a lukey or redback exhaust with the rear resonator or if you wan't it really loud, just have a straight through pipe at the rear.

Lukey, sounds like a good brand. When you say straight through pipe, do you mean straight from the cat to the rear without a muffler?

That sound like it could be a winner. Do you have an approximate cost?

cost me $300 installed from everlast.

If you just want volume get a lukey with no rear resonator, they're about 105db.
They're cheap s**t exhausts though, the redback is much better quality, but a lot quiter.

if you want volume get a lukey press bend exhaust.. all the extra turbulent gases the press bands make creates more noise..

mandrel is a better option but press bend in cheaper and noisier not as refined.
