I was a reading Ford Performance Mag and it says something about a TSI module being fitted to the factory management system that allows for extra tuning? Article was about a couple of BA XR8s and a XR6T. All fitted with the TSI module.
This was done at Brad Garlick Ford in NSW. Do all Ford dealers have this TSI module that allows for better tuning of BA Falcons?

Cheers

The "TSI" is a piggyback chip. It is now branded RDP (Redcliffe Dyno and Performance) chip/module.

Very similar to a unichip but with extra tuning tools available i.e. adjust injector flow, advance timing, VCT control, fuel mapping thoughtout the rev range etc.
I have one on my auto BA XR6 non-turbo with some other mods. I reckon it's the best piggyback type chip on the market. Since the mods my best run down the 1/4 was 14.71@96mph. Not too shabby for a N/A with just bolt on mods.

redcliffe dyno sell the piggy back chip for a drive in drive out price of around $1600 ... including before and after dyno runs ... if it takes longer for the tunning it dont cost you any more than they quote ... Excellent people
