I just went to start up my AU1 Falcon and as soon as the key went to acc, the digital display on the dash came up with "base". So I turned the key off and back on and it was still there. Started the car and it went away, and it hasnt come back.

ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE CODE IS?...OR WHY IT CAME UP?

It comes up when the cluster loses power, eg if you take the battery off or blow a fuse.

Mine comes up with FAIR. It's just telling you what sort of cluster it is.

Sweeeeet, thanks Twisted. Glad it was nothing major.

A few days before I had taken a couple of fuses out looking for a blown one and hadnt started since, so thats what it would have been.

Thanks.
