hey guys. just wondering if any1 can tell me exactly what this thing is and how does it work? its got 3 wires and a vacuum line hose connector. it came from an EF and i think (hope) its to control the BBM.

i'm also wondering how it connects to the vacuum lines on the BBM manifold pictured also? (if it is the bbm controller)

That is a map sensor and it does not directly connect to the vacuum connector shown in the second pic. It measures Manifold Absolute Pressure (Vacuum) so the ECU can determine engine loading and thus supply the correct fuel ratio via the injector pulses

I just found that one out today thanks to EFFalcon.
It is hidding behind the washer bottle

Ask the guys at FTG and also ask for the wiring connector if you can :)

genuine is such a rip off... don't suppose anyone knows about the wiring for it?

does it just run off 12V and have a positive and a negative so i can activate it via a relay?

Power comes from eecV pin20 on EF 0 power to 3800rpm then12-14.5v above 3800rpm :roll:
