Hey all i own a series 1 forte i recently dropped the car to get some mods done i already had the pacemaker headers ,high flow cat, 2.5 inch exaust and shift kit done well before.The mods consist of


uni chip computer.
stage 3 crow cam
crow vernier gears
Tickford ported and polished head
big valves( not sure type )
stronger rockers
3inch Jim mock mandrel induction kit (including k & n filter )
race plugs and leads
slotted rotors (fitted with new pads)
car serviced using redline oil

Then i have to take to get uni chip installed and tuned what sort of power gains em i looking at [/b]

a friend is a mechanic hes doing the work to it himself i paid for it as we went along got things cheaper thru him

148rwkw?? for anywhere between $40-60 you should be able to hire a dyno for 3 runs to get a good indication to see where your cars power is at.. then you can post up your results for the rest of us to look at!! :wink:

Stronger rockers - WTF?

Ive seen an engine with similar specs pull mid 140's. The crow stage 3 doesnt seem to pump out the big dyno numbers some people want, but still a nice cam.

If you don't get at LEAST 150-160rwk from that combo I'd be very surprised...

all depends on the dyno, and the day, for instance if you go on a monday morning then your will be totally different story to wednesday arvo :wink:

that JMM induction kit has a dyno proven 8rwkw gain (on 2 different cars on the same day).

So when you tihnk of it that way, $390 isnt bad :)
