Strange things do happen, sometimes it can just be a freak kinda thing. do the same combo in one motor and it wont do the same things to another. While it does seem unreal that this "freak" motor is pulling the numbers, it is plauseable.

I had a 253 V8 Auto commy dead stock that used to run rings around most 308's. could never understand it but thats just the way that motor was.

Have seen EF-EL's pull 95 kw on the dyno and yet others 115 and yet they are stock and yet they are the same motor physically, why then the difference? they are all mass produced parts all fitted in a factory.

I just put it down to lifes little mysteries, some things are just unexplained.

how many times have you said to yourself it should pull better numbers than that? and other times holy crap didnt think I'd get that much. Sometimes you do everyting right and still...... and others just throw it all together and hey bingo!!!..

some people are just dam lucky.

I've never seen a car with a stock 91AA head pull that much, I don't think I ever will either.

f**k. I'd be willing to throw money at this bloke to pull the f**k motor down in front of half you whinging bastards and have some pics taken just to shut you up.
This car has always run well, 170+rwkw is a very good acheivement in my books, it cost a s**t load less than a DEV 5 and is so simple, if it breaks it can be repeated.

I doubt it'll crack a 13, but would gladly be proven otherwise. I suspect it'll need a T5Z at least before long, and some diff gears (ala OED666)

yeah 170 plus is good, his engine just doesn't make it. THE HEAD DOES NOT FLOW ENOUGH AIR FULL STOP, it's just not posible for an un ported falcon head to make that much power. there is no proof of it, just a dyno sheet, it doens't mater what dyno or how much the heads been shaved. If the head can't flow the air, the engine can't make the power.

if it could be done that easy every one would have it, and the people spending big dollars would be getting 220plus..

if this engine is so good, take it to strip and run the MPH to prove it.

from the power he claims and the weight of the car he should be able run over 103MPH.(and thats being kind) if he does it i'll stand (sit) here and aet my words for all to see. but untill then he's full of s**t or the dyno operator is blowing wind up his a***

ok i havn't read all of this post but i ran my car up on a dynamics dyno the other day and as long as the correction factro is set up the same on the dyno you should get an accurate result.i was runnin it with the standard 0.96 somethin somethin and got 133.2 at the tyres.if you are at a dyno day and you look at the correction factor it will be around the 2 point something mark(or there abouts). which in term puts the reading up a bit.ill run it at the dyno day and ill most likely get a few extra rwkw because of that.

The air & inlet temps must be the same or very close or the dyno will give you overinflated corrected figures.

yes his is wrong. it doesn't take much to realise the s**t power numbers when you look at the head flow numbers of any stock I6 head.

like i said i'll believe you when you runs the right MPH
