not exactly sure about a good highway run.. i reset everything, drive 5-10km in city driving, and it showed about 14.5 i think. then drove about 15km highway and the average dropped to 12.0 and now after about 120km of city only driving its back upto 15.9

My trip computer is on 12.8l/100km

Is there any reason why my trip comp is really slow to change.
I could start doing highway miles today, but it takes my trip comp about 5 days to start dropping.
If i reset it, it takes about 2 or 3 weeks for the figure to come back to what it is now, 12.8. It's too slow to be normal, and what would make it so slow? :(

I have a K&N filter, replaced O2 sensor, coolent temp sensor, new dizzy cap, new plugs, new leads.

I'm managing about 11-13L/100km, bit of both city and country driving.

I've done a bit of intake work and cat-back exhaust. Hopefully should improve even more with the mods i have planned over the next coming months.

Mine sits around 13.5 normal driving, out on the highway it will drop down to 8. However I don't believe my trip computer any more. On a recent run from the Grampians to Melbourne with a loaded trailer the TC gave me a average of 16.5 :( After squeezing in as much fuel as I could, I calulated only 13.

I think changing the tyres has affected the odo and therefore the TC.

The fairlane sits on 14.3 and it does pretty much only country driving, and the BA averages 12.5 mainly city driving.
