as per above, mine sits about 2-3mm to the left of the center mark.

does anyone know what temps the notches are?

not sure on the ba cluster but on my ef lately it has been getting up to the N on normal with the AC on witch is fairly high, ill have the check my cooling system as engine was down on power yesterday when hot and was ticking at me

My mates Ba neva goes above the half way marker

my ef bush basher was a treat, got it into the red all the time and never had a problem for over two years. i cringe when my ba goes up to half way, only on big hills in 3rd when you givin it curry ha

my el xr6 turbo sits on L sometimes the A.and I am impressed with that
But my daily el mont bloody sits on the O in traffic? I laugh how my turbo runs cooler than my el daily hack???

yeah i dont get it

mate has a el xr6 with a ba xr6 dvct turbo motor and it gets to the L when giving it some boost but my stock ef with just cold air intake gets right up there

Think ill do a coolant flush next weekend

My BF XR6 sits about the same as yours, little to the left of the middle.
Sometimes cooler.

My EF sits just on the M on NORMAL and between the O and R on a hot day with the AC going.
The Laser never goes above 1/2 way on the gauge, I don't remember her ever getting hot in the 7yrs I've had her.

My eb dosnt go past the N in normal...ever. And the ebgauge goes over normal N to L not like the ef el.
Runs so cold.

me ef always sits just on the the first line wich is the outline of the normal zone and never goes any higher unless i give it a flogging

This is reassuring to know, as mine also sits around the same position. Though, at the risk of thread hiacking, at what temp should the thermo's kick in? I've noticed, with the AC on they run constantly. Is this right?
