So ive finally finished replacing the blown head gasket on my ed....... took her out for a spin 2 see how things went and at first was fine!! just put new lifters in it as well as i stuffed a few.... after bout 10 kays the lifters start tapping again and i look down and my oil pressure was in the red?? now i have no idea whats goin?? any help???

Did you assemble the Rocker assembly correctly? you didn't by some chance forget those washers while assembling it did you?

well theres nothing left 2 put back 2gether... ive got no washers lying round or anything??? but i may check that s**t out.....

May I suggest you use a greggory's/max ellery's/genuine Ford manual to put the rocker set back together, that way you are garranteed not to put any of the washers the wrong way, but again it may not be the rocker set, you may have done something else to upset the oil. What grade oil did you use???
