car: ef futura, ef xr6 engine

impco gas system

what is the biggest cam i can go on lpg? i remeber something about lpg cars tolerating only a particular duration or lift or something.

any advice = great

i beleive joe at crescent motors (site sponser) has some gas grinds, give him a call, he is also in sydney which is handy for you...

yeh..

said his lpg grinds were a waste of time though.

Best results from his stage 2 cam for LPG.

Camtech has a stage 2 which is suitable.

I'd prefer to go to crescent since camtech is only a supplier, but camtech is a straight plug and play cam no timing alteration necessary.

550 installed at crescent, 423 supplied at camtech.. crescent comes (and needs) a vernier gear and shims, camtech doesn't come/need them.

So i'm looking at 550 wherever I go.

Crescent the better option?

to get it right, whichever aftermarket cam you use, your best using the vernier cam gear anyway, sounds like a good deal...

I run a wade 1636 on my EL duel Fuel
idle's better on LPG than petrol.
