You should always adjust the computer when you get a new cam.
I know heaps of ppl on here don't but if you think about how the EEC works out how much fuel to inject you will realise that when you change the cam all the fuel calcs are thrown off. The idle is just part of the problem, the whole rev range will be off. I got the crow stg3 2222549 HP4 kit and even after the chip the car was running pretty lean at full throttle. Some quick work on the dyno fixed it up nicely.
Now I have a car that drives and runs like factory, no 'torque hole' below 2500 rpm for me! The idle is smooth (abit raised electronically to 850Rpm).

I have a mate wth a JMM dev5 head BUCKO is his username on here, PM him if you want. he's running an auto with standard ECU and it's funny listening to the car catching the revs just before it stalls. Once its warmed up its fine though.

I'm assuming you mean "cam" not "head"?

, The car dosent idle like it did with the stock cam, she still gets some lumps but it dosent stall and when turing etc every thing stays cool, but comparing it to some other cams, wont say which ones (im not knocking the companys), the Dev5 in my eyes was the best. yeah the car was auto

Just to be clear.. just the cam, no hi-stall, auto, standard ecu.. any other mods at all?
