hey all... just wondering if changing the ecu in an ef from ex police to vr6 makes it any better?

any advice would help as a mate is telling me to swap out my police ecu for a xr6 one( so he can get mine)....

I have a feeling you will be wasting your time, I thought the xr6 & ex police ecu's were very similar in terms of performance. I also thought there was a sticky on here with some info in regards to this question in the ECU section?
