Is he Swanny?

The guy who tuned my car from Bullet Performance Racing said he had a bloke in there called Swanny that made nearly 200rwkw with an NA E series Falcon.

He said it was s**t to drive and had a fairly short powerband but it made good power.

Pretty impressive seeing as I only made that with 5psi.

That leans towards to much camshaft to compensate for lake of port flow.

a good head will need less camshaft and will have a good power spread.

and from what I have seen, with a good cam, headwork isn't required while staying N/A. Power on a Dyno is one thing, driveability is another. OED666 has the perfect example of that. 165rwkw, 13.8@101mph. There are cars with more power that are significantly slower. I can name one forum member who made 175rwkw but can only manage a 14.2, another made 225rwkw turbo'd and ran a 13.7....

yeah theres ALOT of power vs times that dont add up right.
but alot of that owuld come down to s**t like gearing and i guess driver skill.
even grechie, nothing wild and he had a great time.
obviously some well setup cars and guys that know how to drive.

id be fkn shattered if i owned a turbo car that was slower than an n/a car with less power lol.

As said above alot of factors go into 1/4 mile as quoted by fordfreaks

never pays to get too carried away by dyno figures. fordfreak - your sig says 170+rwkw and yet directly under that it says 14.4 e.t. to me that says you don't quite have 170rwkw. as said earlier, dyno's are simply a tuning tool.
will say your probably judging my 170rwkw forgetting it is just a six after all.. not an eight like youre EB... have you factored in i race full interior? on heavy 19s? super and ultra low suspension? and being an EF FAIRMONT with all the fruit and XR kit adds weight... all those things will work against you.. im sure i could get quicker if a trimmed all the fat off my Fairmont.. so im quite happy with my dyno figures...

you do realise that there are some major errors in Fordfreaks post dont you Dr Hemi/Sorted... 6cyl makes no major difference, there are 2 Brock EA's running 180rwkw,neither can beat or even equal OED's time.

and pretty sure both grechie and OED ran full trim n s**t lol
make as many excuses as you like, the print out says you have x amount of power but you ran x time suggesting you dont have said power...
