G'day all. I have been browsing E-bay, and came across a head for sale that has been modified by a Ted Robinson.

Has anybody heard/dealt with this person? It sounds like he is fairly well known in the racing fraternity, judging by the blurb on E-bay.

Saloon car heads dont get much work done as the class rules dont allow for heat porting or shaping. Having said that the work that does get done is usually of a very high standard.

that head look older then 800km. look at the water port at the front of the head, it's stained with rust. they dont get that after 800km

The ea head, after it got pressure tested etc, looked a lot better than that does. then again it looks crap now after 40,000 kays on it. still barely run in tho for a rebuild hey.

prob is that we dont run coolant in the tourning cars cause the glycol is slipery if it gets dumped on the track, where as straight water isnt as bad. You dont know the heads history before it was raced, the car may have been a taxi in its previous life, ours was :lol:
