G'day fellas,

I can normally figure out my own car problems but this one has me stumped.
when i change gear i hear a surge of air venting out somewhere under my bonnet, i can not pin point the problem area but it's getting more noticeable.

nah only a 2.5" redback.

The whoosh is there at any revs and it doesn't get louder.

^haha, the worst part is it's loud and sounds like one of those ebay pos n/a bov

I don't use after market filters, the paper ones work great with a larger snorkel.

I just went out and had a look and i couldn't hear anything as of yet.

I checked as much of my intake i could in the wet and it seems fine, she is still sucking hard from the mouth.

My theory is that the radiator cap is releasing excess pressure as the cap is on it's way out?

* I just had a look at my clutch cable (3 months old) and she sits fairly tight and is rubbing near the extractors, this isn't normal as far as my old clutch cable is concerned, is anyone else's sitting close and tight? *
