If you're running lpg you have a restricted intake. swapping back to petrol wont change that fact.

hmmm... that bit i know and really ticks me off!

the car came with a nice big K&N pod filter that had to be removed or covered with a plastic bag for the gas system to start up :?

also i jus bought a cold air intake chip that would piggy-back the cold air sensor, to enable my ECU to give me a better fuel/air mix.... but with the LPG i dont think i would be able to use that mod. :(

simple . the "EL" are the better ! ( thats why i got 2 :P )

EL = FTW :P

The AU may be lighter buts it's got to lug around all that ugly the EL doesn't.

Seriously.

Sam, A dual fuel Falcon is no performance machine. It's a compromise either way, petrol and LPG are very different fuels, making a car run on both means it does a poor job of both. Revel in the fact you mum has to pay more to do 100km than you do.

Basically they're a 5c resistor at best... and they do pretty much nothing.

only reason i asked to what mixer you had on it for the gas . even tho the out hose size maybe 100mm , the internal size of the mixer is about 45-50mm diametre thus creating the restriction

The resistor tricks the ECU into thinking the engine is constantly cold, thus it dumps in more fuel. more fuel = more power right. NOPE (you need more air to match it as well). All you do is increase you're fuel bill
