thats only 37mm, not very large at all....

mines inbuit with the throttle body but I'm sure its bigger than that and mines on a 6.
sure Tickford LPG is 43mm from memory. Will have to measure it next time I have reason to remove the intake.

crikey that 5L must run crap with no top end.
I havent measured mine but it's bigger than that for sure.
I got an au factory tickford gas mixer that looks a bit bigger I may swap it for when I get excited enough.

My Mum used to have an EF Wagon and that pulled much harder than my GLF`s Mums AU11 Forte Sedan. It used to punish it strait away on takeoff easily. AU had 160000kms EF 190000. It even pulls harder and accelerates a lot faster than the tickford powerd EL ghia she now has. It had me scratching my head especially as we had it for 9 years and it never even blew a head gasket, and hammered.

wagons have better diff gears and being a ghia 2l it might have 3.45 gears
compared to whatever standard aus have

I think Petrol will run with a bit less power due to the fact that it is trying to cooperate with a gas system ! I know mine does just slightly

Was there really a need to bring this up?

My AU was the same, quicker on LPG to 5000rpm than on petrol
