Hi guys

Just wondering if anyone has put bigger injectors on an el with the standard ecu im told the ef/el injectors have as single spray were the newer models have 4 hole spray

funny u mention using AU injectors...i went to Power Ford 10mins ago and got a quote for Au injectors...$183 EACH!!!!!!! they must have to make them or something..

s**t you can get what i assume are recoed ones on ebay for 120 a set.

ba injectors would be to big for n/a e series.. and they use a different type plug.
but au are a direct fit into e series..
most wreckers sell au injectors for about $100..for 6
but there is no guarentee how clean they are??
like froudey said you can get them reco from ebay for $120

thats where i got mine from!....

how easy would it be to install a set of AU injectors to an EL xr6?

you just need to unbolt the throttle body and fuel rail remove the el ones a fit the au ones.

its fairly easy..

it depends how your car is running?
the ecu will compinsate if the o2 readings are to rich and its more to do with the 4 hole spray patern it helps atomise the fuel...
