i have been snooping the forums for some info on how to squeeze some more guts out of my na xr6.
And i stumbled across a young bloke that has pushed 246 rwkw out of a bf na xr6 however he has spent megger bucks getting there lol.
i have a long term goal for my fg of a raptor supercharger but this is if i do short term work and it still isn't tuff enough for my liking lol.
So this is what im currently looking at having done
-atomic stage 4 cams - if you are running these let me know i wanna know how they go (also considering crow cams stage 2s not sure which are better suited)
-mace engineering intake insulator
-atomic stage 4 ported head
-powerbond underdriver pulley.
-pacie ss 2.5 catback exhaust
-no idea for cat? Need help with this.
-xcal 3 and full custom tune.
And the only engine mod i have done so far is a growler cold air intake with big mouth funnel thingy lol
plus i have had the mufflers replaced with hooker aerochambers but am now looking to go stainless from cat back.
As im in brisbane im looking at having the work done at elite automotive on the south side.
Basically want to know if the standard ecu in the fgs will run the stage 4 cams no trouble once its been tuned.
I am hoping to break 220 but would be happy anywhere over 200rwkw
there are a few na fgs running about over this mark so i know it can be done with minor mods but i need more opinions i have the money for cams and head atm and realise labour for the above mods is going to be about 5 big ones have i got my list right anything i missed?
