i have an AU fairmont. the window switches are working fine but the bulbs are not working.
does anyone know where i can get replacement bulbs? Ford only supply the switch complete. thx |

thats the only way you can get new bulbs,
just change them to LED's, its the simplest thing you can do and there is a step by step guide here: http://www.fordforums.com.au/vbportal/m ... cle&id=203 just use white LED's if you dont want them to be coloured! edit: photo of mine, done with 1800mcd LED's iirc, way WAY brighter at night time

the only way you can get the bulbs is by buying the entire switch, i had a look around and they werent sold seperatly. the LED mod is easy as, costs about $1.50 each for an led and 40 cents for 8 resistors, the leds run cooler and last longer than the bulbs in there aswell.

hi , i contacted Britax, the company that manufactures the switches. they have referred me to another compnay which might be able to help out with the original bulbs.

i dont want to replace the bulbs with LED's. i have managed to purchase some 2nd hand switches with working globes. hopefully they last . thx again
