(!) Wont START??

Hey guys, my EF Falcon has been haven intermittent starting problems, it doesn't crank at all, it all lights up on the dash ready to go and then everything goes blank but this symbol (!) and nothing!
I read on here the light means brakes or something so i changed the switch under the master cylinder and still no go!
I tried tapping BCM, i tried changing battery, i tried reprogramming the remote and nothing it wont crank at all.....
Any ideas? coz i was thinking the BCM was stuffed, but that means new BCM, new Barrel and new key! right?

If you were to replace the bcm you dont need to replace the key barrel. Just leave the key on accessories for 30odd minutes to relearn the bcm.
Have you tried moving the shifter from P to N and try start it? Sometimes the switch plays up on the shifter

Yeah mate, tried all the tricks....
So if i swap out my BCM i can just leave it on for half hour and it will re-tune itself?
My mate looked up the (!) thing and it said brake system failure are they related in a stupid Ford way that u no of?

Yep just leave the key on and forget about it.
The car will still start with no brakes. That light just comes on when you start the car as far as im aware

Guys need to bring back the Pelican thread coz it was just the starter motor! I was unaware i had to tap and crank at same time, i was tapping it and walking around and trying to start it... :oops:
Well there is a lesson here! If it has hooves think horsie not Zebras PMSL :roll:
