Guys
As we all know our standard falcons lose a lot of power through our driveline before the power reaches our wheels (RWKW's). Has anyone worked the other way by not touching the engine but making the auto tranny stronger and lighter thus making the engine lose less power through the driveline. Can this be done if so what are the thing that we need to look at doing, is this a more cost affective way of spending money on the car, is it not worth as much as modding the engine first. I rekon a list of what could make it stronger our drive line stronger and lighter would be good coz i know we are limited to power produced in our engines b4 the auto tranny goes into limp mode so any thoughts on this would be helpful. In any and every driveline/gearbox/transmission you will always have losses in power, this is an inherent design factor.
If you can make a lossless or near lossless or decrease the loss you would take power transmission to the next level. The only way to limit losses is electrically regenerate power off the transmission.

exactly, energy cannot be created, it can just be transformed from one form to another. eg. from chemical energy to heat. etc.

looks like one can't function with out the other. back to the topic.......a light weight drive shaft might help. extensively balanced & harden.
