hey guys just wondering what to do next! i have a ea with a ef motor in it, has bigger valves cam computer fuel pump injectors xr6 induction all backed by a 5 speed t5. runs a 14.6 down the quarter but i have no idea wat to do next. i want it to be a track monster and don't care about driveability or fuel i want to turbo it 4 sure but have the lack of funds at the moment. Is there anything else i could do before i turbo it like bore it out? would putting better pistons rods bearings and crankshaft get me into the 12's? and if anyone knows of a good ford bloke up in brissie can you give me there name and number any info would be kick a** thanks fellas

dreaming mate.

you will need a fairly decent turbo system to get you into the 12's.

and 95% chance the t5 wont hold the power to make a 12

If you want it to be a track monster with no regards to drivability or fuel consumption you better have no regard towards a budget of any kind either... big horsepower costs big money, and your bang for your buck decreases the further up you go..

12s NA,no 13s NA with lots of $$$, id put new diff gears in it with a LSD if you dont already have one then just play with bigger cams and see if you can get a low 14 pass out of it.

i reckon antony from alted performance is your best bet for performance upgrades ROFL!
seriously though, 12's out of an N/A EA-EL motor is pretty much impossible unless your running mid 13's and strip the whole car out.
save up for that turbo setup mate!

Rent a C-130 from RAAF, get them to fly to 30 000ft with your car in the cargo bay, push it out, and you should get 12s.

but if you got 12 seconds down the strip then you would have to go to the trouble of getting your name changed to 12secea.... not worth the worries
